This day 100 years ago saw the Celtic FC sports take place at Parkhead in front of a crowd of 45,000.
As usual there was a five-a-side tournament, the results being as follows:
Semi-Final: Rangers 1, Clyde 0; Celtic 5, Queen’s Park 0
Final: Celtic 1 Goal, 1 Point, Rangers 0
The successful squad comprised Martin Moran; Davie Hamilton; Jimmy McMenemy; Willie Loney; Jimmy Quinn (who scored the decisive goal against Rangers).
